This is such a cute, nostalgic neocities fan website:
https://grimmjow.neocities.org/
It makes me want to print out anime pictures to decorate my binder.

New post up on my website https://librarymonster.io !
#Chocolate & #bread themed cell phone case
I link to my tools & supplies, and put together a 4 min video of it (time lapsed, bc this took a bit over an hour).
To my beloved readers, all four of you. (Actually I don't keep metrics so I don't know)
I have migrated my website to my own domain and a new provider.

Same site, same fun, slightly different URL
Ta!
Does anyone on fedi know an easy way to have an article with two separate translations on a webpage?
i.e. i have an article in one language, and i can click a button to change the text to another (prewritten) translation.
There comes a point in every insufferable nerds life where they need to explain in great detail their own Personal Knowledge Management #pkm system.
And now is my time.

So my 8 yo is having a lot of fun learning how to create and maintain his own little space on the web:
https://randoms.neocities.org/
He's the one creating the content and the code.
He got super excited when I told him I'd be sharing his site here on Mastodon. So, feel free to check it out and leave a comment!
Those familiar with static website design, suggestions are more than welcome.
Thank you @neocities.org for making this so easy.
Upon perusing #neocities for #Bleach content, I found a page dedicated to #Ichigo Kurosaki’s feet.
Now that’s the internet I know and love.
Whimsical and hyper-specific.
After I waxed poetically about anime fan sites on geocities today, someone in my circle brought up #neocities
And lo and behold, I click on one of the featured sites, and I find one of you lot - a fellow fedizen, posting photos on pixelfed and escape video games on peertube.
This brings me joy.
Just discovered crazyguyonabike.com and it is PACKED TO THE BRIM with so many details!!!
Also straight up 90s website in very best way possible, wow!
Was looking into handlebars and found this:

It's been a moment, but here's something new from my blog: https://mikegrindle.com/posts/grew-up-with
Re-upping this #neocities post for #BandcampFriday - My Favorite Music From 2024
https://rootcompute.neocities.org/reviews/2024music
If you have anything else in a similar vein to recommend, feel free to send it my way! I am always on the lookout for quality instrumental/mostly non-vocal music in the following genres: downtempo, atmospheric DnB, smooth jazz, jazz fusion, math rock, indie rock, metal, progressive trance, chill house/techno, chiptune
I'm a bit obsessed with working on my website currently. And inspired by all the fantastic personal websites I'm finding. So here's another update to my website:
I added three pages: a sitemap, a page where I want to collect all the single pages I want to make, and one such single page.
I also put the change log on my homepage into a scrollable box. I'm not super happy with how it looks, but I do like a scrollable box thing.
I am feeling a bigger re-design coming... I have ideas, but don't know when I'll actually sit down to try it out. I have some ideas of single pages first.

wrote a page about witchcraft for my website and it became a short essay type of a deal, mostly about white settler paganism.

Fujofans update:
https://fujofans.scumsuck.com/index.html
Finally got through all the emails, and pushed all the changes that people have requested in the last year! Quite a bit of people have their own domain name now, rather than relying on neocities or nekoweb. Cool!
We have two new listings, and some edited buttons. I'm starting to put buttons into a /img/buttons/ folder. Hooray for organization.
We also have two new testimonials!
https://fujofans.scumsuck.com/experiences.html
I haven't pushed the testimonials page as much, but I intended it to be a space where people could talk about their positive experiences with fujoshi culture and yaoi. So I've edited the intro to reflect that, and hopefully I get less dudes venting about how much they don't like straight girls or whatever.
So yeah, if you're already on the listing or are applying, please feel free to leave a note there via the linked form :P
So yeah! That's all the major updates I REALLY wanted to do for Fujofans this year! Check that off my bingo list. Next will be SIGH SSG refactoring.. but I did find an astro template for directories that has sorting and search, so I'll wrestle with that in due time. Gnoming my Linux with Floorp in Joomla. You know.
@knasman Alternate Internet? Well, There's #Freenet and #Tor's Onion pages, but if you're just looking for #smallinternet and #smallweb stuff, there's still plenty of small, personal homepages on this world wide web. From browsing a topical #webring or clicking around random sites on #neocities, there's lots of stuff to see out there.
Slowly porting over my old blog posts from Artstation to Neocities.
This one is a list of links to learning material for artists, designers, VFX/game workers.

I've overhauled the landing page for Sygnus.org - New cover #art and completely new layout - Making it a creative hub of updates for all the sites across the network. I've been wanting to do this for years!
Does anyone know a good course to learn how to do thise custom website seen on #neocities ?
I wanna do a simple and basic one, but something also cool! #PersonalSites #personalweb #website
