🎉🎂 Today’s a special day… It’s my birthday! 🥳 Feeling blessed and grateful for another trip around the sun. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of my journey so far — let’s keep growing, learning, and celebrating life together! 💫💛

Here’s to new music, new memories, and more joy! 🙌🎶

Mom and Dad Peacock are on their way to a well-deserved cruise around the Caribbean tonight, and although they had some airline hiccups getting there, it all worked out in the end. So while I'm thinking of it: THREE GOOD THINGS™️!

🛳️ They made it to the ship, and they're excited as little kids.

🏋🏻‍♂️ Had a great Chest Day Is The Best Day!

🌱 Paneer pakoras? Don't mind if I do.

Remember to breathe, clear your head, and take a moment to be #thankful.

One of the little daily joys I am #thankful for is that in New England, the tap water is generally delicious.

I feel so bad when we have visitors from the midwest or wherever, and they see us just slugging back pint glasses out of the kitchen faucet and they look visibly startled and say something like "is... is your water actually good to drink here?!"

The rest of the world is nice to visit but I'd never want to live there 😆 #ILoveNewEngland #Gratitude #Mindfulness

Welp, it's back to work tomorrow and I am in no way prepared for it, so here's the Sunday Scaries (Monday Edition) of THREE GOOD THINGS™️!

🥪 I did a meal plan and made lunches for the week.

🧺 Plenty of clean laundry.

🧊 I have all the way until Thursday before I need to, somehow, get the car out of the frozen-solid driveway.

Some days we just do the best we can, fam, what little things helped you out mentally today?

As the #snow beats down on New England tonight, we're staying curled up at home by the fire with some #hemp #tea. Here's a warm and snuggly edition of THREE GOOD THINGS™️!

🏥 We're both feeling almost recovered today.

🛌🏻 Clean sheets and blankets on the bed tonight.

🗓️ Monday is a holiday, so I have a whole extra day to get my weekend chores done!

What small but happy things are you #thankful for today?

"Miss Independent" is a song by American singer #KellyClarkson from her debut studio album, #Thankful (2003). Written by Clarkson, #ChristinaAguilera, #RhettLawrence, and #MattMorris, with Lawrence serving as producer, it was released as the album's #leadSingle by #RCARecords on April 10, 2003, preceding its release by five days. The track was initially intended for Aguilera's fourth album, #Stripped (2002), but was left half-finished.

One month ago today I was in a car accident and my life crumbled around me.

There were no injuries and not my fault but led to me being unemployed and facing homelessness.

With the incredible kindness of one person here on Mastodon and a relentless non-stop search for employment I managed to find a job, pay my rent, and get this train back on the tracks.

I am so very thankful for all of you who have given me support in my darkest hour. It really has made a difference.

It was a travel day for me, so here's a post-road-trip edition of THREE GOOD THINGS™️!

🏠 Back home in the city with The New Roommate.

🫖 Got to spend the afternoon drinking tea on the farm with The Domestic Partner.

🚆 The drive was fine, but when I go back out to the country in 2 weeks I'm taking the train again... it's less stressful and I really don't need my car while I'm there.

What are some other good things at the end of 2024?

This #Christmas feels a lot more like #Thanksgiving.

Three weeks ago, my world crumbled and disappeared. Unemployed, potentially no vehicle, genuinely facing homelessness.
Soul crushingly bleak.

I am so incredibly thankful that in the following days, someone here on Mastodon gave me a leg up, I found a job and now I have a brand new life.

If that's not something to be thankful for this Christmas, I dunno what is.

Merry Christmas to all
