So I made a fix for a #Lutris installer (NFS Porsche) and created a PR on the git of who made the first one.
It was rejected without any comment. Also said person seems to be completely inactive for years.

Should I just yolo it and take over the Lutris installer on Lutris.net? Said person didn't credit themself in the corresponding field, I just found them through the file download links.

The current NFS Porsche Unleashed installer will fail unless you got one specific version. #Linux

You might've shared your secret API key publicly.

The Lutris logs seem to NOT hide *any* personal information in debug logs' HTTP requests. This includes access secrets, client IDs or refresh tokens.

I've been putting off switching to #linux before #W10 goes out of support because I didn't know if #ffxiv would work on it.

@Noyesster told me that #Fedora with #Lutris works 'flawlessly' so I thought I should start working on it.

First thing is replace my last 500 Gb for a 2Tb one, and I decided to go for the #Crucial MX500 (I¡m replacing a 2'5" disk with another).

Turns out, only #fuckingAmazon has it, can't find it anywhere else here in Barcelona.

What a disgusting world we're living in.

#ScribesAndMakers Feb 21: Do friends/family give you gifts for your activities, or do you buy all your own supplies?

I buy all my own supplies, which is to say a computer and software. I spent *months* trying to get #Scrivener to run on #Linux (#Lutris did the trick).

Now that I've settled on #Debian / #Gnome, and I've gotten #Scrivener working (because #Lutris was kind enough to create an automated installation), I'm finding my computer is... just a computer. It just works.

Ho hum.

Some sort of of success. I could place #nolf2 with #wine. Had (obviously) to install the #i386 versions of the #mesa packages besides the #amd64 ones.
Shout-out to #kisak for their mesa backporting btw.
Just wide-screen support doesn't work well. Stuff gets cropped.

Maybe I give #lutris another try as well.

Wasted two hours to somehow get No One Lives Forever 2 run on Linux via #wine or #lutris. Total failure.

Se giocate su #Ubuntu (o una distro basata su #Gnome) come me, un SINGOLO GNOME PLUGIN mi ha risolto un problema che durava da mesi. Ho avuto problemi con #Dredge: dopo l'avvio il video si bloccava completamente una volta passato a schermo intero, non sapevo che pesci prendere. Ora invece gira senza problemi. Dio benedica l'Open Source e il supporto della community!!

I know. #EA kinda sucks. But if you want to run your games that are locked in the EA app under #Linux you should be able to do it.

I tried doing this using #Lutris but it gave me errors and was a bit awkward to get it going. #Heroicgameslauncher has no implementation for it. (I guess I understand why!!) Left me searching a bit and the trick is to install the app as an external application in #Steam.

As I’ve written before, I lock my games into an encrypted tomb to keep me from playing them when I should be working. Much harder than managing where games are installed, though, is managing where they store their saves.

Using Lutris and the magic of environment variables, I’ve found a solution to story all of my game saves in a single parent folder.
