I am sorry to inform you, #TinyCAD, but #Firefox does in fact support local storage.

I'm not convinced, that integrating #Brave instead of #Firefox into #Zorin OS 17.3 is the best move. Even though they chose to hide most of the browser’s problematic features (e.g., Brave Wallet, Brave Rewards, Leo AI, Brave Talk, Brave News, Brave’s sponsored background images, etc).

What about #vivaldi ? Are there more acceptable alternatives ?

I'm actively running or testing #Firefox or multiple Firefox-based browsers. I'm getting sick and goddamned tired of realizing that one of those browsers decided to change my settings, especially keeping my tabs when I shut down the browser, and now I lost everything and have to hope I have it in history or lose where I was.

I want to be able to send tabs to different browsers on different devices, but #Mozilla is making a use case to log out of their sync account.

This HAS to stop. Period.

#FireFox experience: pretty much all websites work, but you need to mess with about:config to disable all the bullshit

#LibreWolf experience: no built-in bullshit, but lots of websites don't work or show artifacts, you need to mess with about:config to get websites working one-by-one

Just found by accident a great keyboard shortcut in the Brave browser, firefox & IceCat.
Ctrl-Shift+Del will open the "delete browsing data" dialog.
Never knew this before (I'm sure others did) but it's really cool!

Lol, I was right into thinking there was something "off" about #ZorinOS years ago when I was considering which #Linux distro to migrate away from #Windows. Shitty, reactionary decisions like this would turn me off so badly and seriously make me question their judgement in maintaining their distro. If they actually care about "privacy" and have issues with #Firefox (or rather, #Mozilla), something like #LibreWolf would've been a more natural choice rather than moving to a #Chromium based browser, as if #Google needs a stronger dominance in their web presence - let alone #Brave, one of the (objectively) shadiest options of them all.
