On the other side of the Tatras mountains we cycled throug Osturňa, a village with very nice houses, build and colored in a traditional way. The cycling path along the Danube river was nice but fully crowded. We crossed the border to Poland without recognising it. Our first campspot in Poland was a little roof in a village park. We found this spot in the dark... The next night we pitched our tent behind a football club house and then we reached Krakow

The downhill through the Národný park Slovenský raj (Slovak Paradise National Park) was amazing! Soon after we got our first glimps of an eye onto the impressive Tatra mountains. On the picture it looks not as gigantic than in nature!
In Kežmarok ("Käsemarkt" - "cheese market") we came across a red church and the castle of the city.
In the end of a long but beautyful day we climbed on the eastern part of the atra mountain range to the village Ždiar and finally set up tent next to the gravel road on the highest point of that mountain crossing (1170m). That day we cycled 90km with 1200hm...
