If you plan to enter the USA be aware they could take away your phone and search it, too.

So keep three phone numbers in your mind(!) (not only in your phone):
1. home contact knowing what to do if you are detained.
2. US contact knowing what to do.
3. a US legal rights assistant.

And clean your phone of anything
- Trump/USA critical
- media (texts, pictures, videos, social media posts, ...) containing nudity, drugs, (toy) weapons, slang expressions, ...
- contacts/phone numbers you not really need
