A lawn full of all kinds of colorful, wild bulbs in the central reservation in our street. The red-yellow tulips are the most striking, they stick out above blue and white muscari and low little pink tulips. Something to try out yourself in your lawn or in a part of it. They may not be mowed for a while when they have finished blooming. A green lawn full of all kinds of flowering bulbs. The red/yellow tall tulips nearby are the most noticeable. Below that blue and white Muscari flowers and low pink wild tulips.
Same lawn now with the grasses (I think they are) a bit higher in between. A somewhat wider view.
The same lawn photographed from a distance. Now the large whole of bright flowers stands out. A party that comes back every year.

Working my way through #covid19 Yep I was fully #vaxxed got it anyway. And it wasn't the least bit mild. 3 days of fever over #102. Today 5th just feels like a chest cold. But as any good #gardener would when expecting a week of rain. And having sprouting bulbs arrive monday. I went out and planted over 200 #bulbs on my hands and knees. Mixed #crocus , #iris reticulata Harmony, grape #hyacinth, PurpIe Emperor #allium , and #snowflakes. Still to plant are blue shades #anemone blanda and a few species tulips.

And also two colors of bachelor button seeds.

Planted 125 total of crocuses, snowdrops, hyacinth, and tulips from the bulb order today. Also had probably 200 daffodil bulbs that I dug up when cleaning a bed where they and the crocuses plus some irises, mountain bluet, and a clump of phlox with peonies in it were transplanted.

Some daffodils back into the bed they came from but spread out, then there were some put in 5 big pots, and circles around two posts in the lawn.
