- Spoon for sieving that I found in one of my boxes full of trinkets . Apparently I bought it ages ago and now it fits perfectly for the job of easy sieving and I couldn’t be happier. It’s also small which is perfect for hikes.

This is the back half of my yard behind our garage.

The stream goes straight down one side of our yard and then does this. It is the headwaters of Bodkin Creek. A 35 acre park separates us from Back Creek off the Bodkin.

It feels far away from everything.

I was very tired and didn’t want to get out
But I forced myself to do Shinrin-yoku after https://ecoevo.social/@EVDHmn reminded me of the power of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing/forest therapy) I think it worked
Plus some fly fishing, although I didn’t catch anything from this spot, which is usually very productive

It’s around the sunset. A small creek winds through suburban woodlands. A riffle feeds into a stream pool followed by another riffle and pool.
