The "D" is for "Disappointment" in #AMD. The cheers lasted a day or two. Now they're back into upselling #RTX.
I expect this being their last high-end gaming card of the decade. I can see them focusing on anything below $500, because over that it's all NVIDIA territory.
I have more hopes on Intel rather than AMD at this point.

Right? Fancy graphics don't mean squat if you can't keep up with the (now metaphorical) beam, and last I heard, #RayTracing was slower than a bottle of molasses left outside in Antarctica for a month.
What does ray tracing even buy you, anyway? Sure, it's nice and elegant as a way to render the whole scene, but if you're still rasterizing most of it, then what the hell is the point? Reflections in puddles? Big whoop, they did that with raster 20 years ago.
NVIDIA doesn't care about gamers. They would, obviously, if they were a 3.6B market compared to 230M.
Giving the real price of RTX5070Ti (and probably the RTX 5070) are nowhere near the MSRP, the new AMD cards may have a shot in the market.
My take? RX 9070 at $599, RX 9070 XT at $699, and people will still wait for RTX in stock.
No way.
