Today’s #WorldHealthDay so we’re starting with a reminder of what TransActual are asking for in relation to healthcare.

We’re asking for:
1. An end to trans-hostile policy making.
2. Access to healthcare without discrimination.
3. All healthcare professionals to understand trans people’s needs.
4. Timely access to appropriate transition related care that respects our autonomy.

The culture war against people who prefer to act compassionately instead of exploiting other living beings is targeting #veganism because the ethical principle not to harm nonhuman animals as far as possible is antagonistic to he masculinistic belief that only those who dominate others are free of illusions about life.

Attacking vegans has a strong patriarchal streak as it's still a widespread belief that to be a "real man" means to dominate nature from the hierarchical position of living on top of the "food chain".

Not adhering to an anthropocentric ideology is practically incompatible with a fascist mindset so it's no surprise that cisness, #climate denial and #speciesism mostly come together in rightwing circles.

I just made the switch from Gmail to Proton. I've had Gmail since 1999 (when it was still in beta). But no more. I'll be gradually moving away from using Google services. A few years ago I did the same with Apple, forwarding emails from there to Gmail. Now it all forwards to Proton.

Proton is based in Switzerland and emails on Proton are end-to-end encrypted and everything, even your calendar and contacts, are stored encrypted. Meaning, if they get served a warrant, there's really nothing they can turn over.

This is especially important in a country that is increasingly criminalizing the very existence of myself and people like me. Get your data out of the US and stored securely. It has never been more important. If not for yourself, then for the people you know.
