This is a half hour Majority Report interview with journalist Gil Duran, that originally aired February 11th, 2025. Duran, who is by no means a fringe figure in American media circles, writes a lot about the fascist ideologies and movie villain plans being openly adopted by these same autocratic billionaire nazis, including the American tech moguls we see surrounding Trump.

As you'll see right from the beginning of the interview, Duran is also convinced that we're watching a Trump regime and its richest benefactor (Elon Musk) enacting strategies to transform American into an autocratic dictatorship that almost identically match the ideas presented by Curtis Yarvin, and his obscenely wealthy disciples; guys like Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen, and of course Elon Musk. Furthermore, like me, Duran believes the intentions and ambitions of these billionaire tech-fascists extends far beyond America to reach global proportions, and a plan to replace nation states and democracies with autocratic forms of governance ruled completely by guys like them.

From the Majority Report YouTube channel:

"Gil Duran then joins, diving right into the concept of the Network State – an idea advanced by Big Tech’s thought leader Curtis Yarvin and his billionaire buddies (Thiel, Andreessen, Musk, etc) that Tech CEOs should take advantage of the collapse of Nation States and democracy in favor of establishing corporate, CEO-run dictatorship, either by gutting and replacing existing governments or purchasing sovereign territories – as Duran unpacks his first introduction to this ideology with Silicon Valley’s attempt to hijack San Francisco’s political institutions, before parsing a little deeper through the recent, much more public discussions of this theory advanced by the likes of Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen, and Curtis Yarvin. After expanding on how we are already seeing the blueprint for a Network State in action, with Trump serving as a figurehead to a Tech CEO’s gutting of our administrative and democratic institutions in favor of sycophants and centralized power, Duran looks to how this came to be the active ideology of the GOP so quickly, unpacking how the collapse of the Biden campaign and naming of JD Vance as Trump’s VP opened up an opportunity for the Big Tech to step in, starting with Elon’s massive public $300m investment and culminating in Yarvin’s Reboot conference in San Francisco last September, exploring the obvious parallels between Big Tech’s dictator obsession and the GOP’s white nationalism and parsing through their unified scapegoating of “woke” and “DEI” in the leadup to the election to the point of completely dominating both mainstream and social media (bolstered by the financial leverage and ownership Big Tech has over those institutions).
