The kids woke me up by screaming “Happy Father’s Day”. The youngest jumped on the bed and me, the eldest brought me breakfast in bed (orange juice and cereal with no milk).

They gave me a pair of Star Wars socks, some weird brand deodorant pack, and rocky road chocolate. We ate chocolate in bed and they raced off to do something else.

I’m now contemplating the whole experience. I don’t know what to think or how to feel. Partly because I’ve eaten too much chocolate, but mostly because I don’t have children.

Today, my youngest two kids turn 10. Which is a huge number. I am now a parent of two 10 year olds and two teenagers...it's a bit wild.

That said, in honor of this big day, I decided to post up a book my wife got for me this year for Father's Day - "There are Dads Way Worse Than You."

The book goes through a bunch of fictional Dads who just...are awful with cute rhymes by Glenn Boozan on each page. The art from Priscilla Witte is simple, but so funny getting right to the point with some biting images of each, terrible Dad.

It's very funny and not exactly appropriate for kids, but was so cute. I am so thankful for this book!

Also, I am very thankful for all four of my kids who made me a Dad in the first place.
