I pop out for a quick 4 hour, 11 mile walk to the top of the highest hill (580m) in the county for the 3rd time in 8 days, only to get home, check my notifications and find that absolutely everyone adores sheep pictures, apparently

Well, no sheep pics from today's outing, but some beautiful views

This was at the peak

Love to all you fluffer nutters 😘💕

Great little video here on the rediscovery and importance of #Welsh Black Oats.

"Filmed in Welsh with English subtitles, it epitomises how and why reviving seed diversity is a transformational act, helping to re-value and pass on the language, skills and culture that have enabled farmers and rural communities to thrive for generations in Wales, and around our living planet". #farming #ArableFarming #SeedExchange #SeedPreservation #DiwylliantCymreig #Cymru #Cymraeg

Back from a bit of an adventurous walk to high points on the plateau involving areas I've not explored before, including a wood I didn't know existed. More pics tomorrow, but after 11 miles that at times turned into an obstacle course, I'm in recovery. I did get an abundance of adorable sheep pics. Enough to last many, many posts, so beware. Consider yourselves forewarned!

Just a taster for this evening..

Just back from helping a friend clear her mam's house at #Beddgelert in #Cymru. I've been fortunate enough to visit some beautiful places but Beddgelert village and its surroundings are some of the best.

Nestled in the shadow of Moel Hebog, Beddgelert is a delight.

We managed to find time for a couple of walks down the Glaslyn gorge and Jethro introduced himself to Rawley Clay's fantastic bronze statue of Gelert.

My only regret was climbing #YrWyddfa instead of going up #MoelHebog, a good reason to visit again in my book!
