#Shadow #silhouette of me in front of our #ancient wood #stable door from my grandfather's former farm. The #rustic, solid arolla pine boards of the #door tell a long history, showing numerous signs of aging. The partially visible round indentation on the stone in front of the door also has a long story to tell.

Small books of rusted cyanotypes made from tea bags with waxed paper bag covers. Making things from what would otherwise just get thrown away is particularly satisfying to me. I look at almost every scrap of paper now and think hmmm… I might be able to use that. I’ve saved candy wrappers a month before finally letting go. There’s a long roll of packing paper in my closet just waiting to be made into a sketchbook, or something. That I will definitely keep.
