Just got back the generator I loaned out to an old Scouting friend, due to two weeks of PSPS shutdowns in the neighborhood. They're going to go try to put together their own battery system, so don't have any interesting in buying it or keeping it.

With Houston expecting a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain, many residents are anxious about a repeat of the power outages from the winter storm of February 2021. CenterPoint Energy says it's taking steps to keep the lights and heat on.

Houston Public Media · CenterPoint prepares for possible power outages from winter storm in HoustonBy Andrew Schneider

Heard my "Plan D" power outage equipment worked well. (3500kWH gasoline generator which can wake the dead and attract zombies). Going to trade it to the friend for some electronics project doodads he was selling at a garage sale a few months ago, I think. (always better to do a win/win barter than money with friends, IMHO).

I had been thinking of selling it for the last two months due to the high noise level... I prefer not to attract zombies.
