Trying very hard here never to upload to Youtube again. All part of Degoogling one's life! I've had approval from the drummer and the singer of Le Beat Group Electronique to upload bootlegs of their pub gigs starting from the 1980s. So for any oldschoolers who like foot-taping pub rock, do check it out on Makertube...

To make it through watching most of a 24 hour race, you gotta know how to take a semi-break from time to time like hitting the mute button to listen to some music while watching the racing action. Currently got The Band (Brown Album) by The Band cued up on YouTube Music as I stay transfixed by sports cars on the high banks.

I'm in a somewhat weird but not terrible place this morning mentally, but do not think choosing to listen to the classic #cosmiccountry album Magnetic South by Michael Nesmith and the First National Band was a bad call at all to start my day.

People who only know him as Mike of the Monkees are missing out on the best stuff he wrote with the First National Band.

"Crazy Love" is a 1979 hit single for the #countryRock group #Poco introduced on the 1978 album #Legend. Written by founding group member #RustyYoung, "Crazy Love" was the first single by Poco to reach the #Top40 and remained the group's biggest hit, with a special impact as an #AdultContemporary hit, being ranked by #Billboard as the #1 AC song for the year 1979.

Musical Interlude: I heard this song a very long time ago, and it got under my skin immediately. It's got a great feeling of being on a long road trip, and tells the story of the narrator being drawn to a random stranger they meet at a gas station, and feeling a certain companionship.

"Six Miles to McKinney," performed by Claire Holley.
