Following a recommendation from @ChrisMayLA6 I watched Blitz last night. What a wonderful film. Heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measure this is a film to make you forget about the petty grievances of life today and realise just how fortunate we are.
If you get the chance give it a watch.

Have just watched Steve McQueen's Blitz on AppleTV & what an amazing two hours it is; telling the story of three nights in the London Bltiz it blends a child finding his way home narrative with a series of comments/scenes related to absences in the story we normally tell ourselves as a country about the blitz. From looting to callous officialdom, from racism & sexism to heroism & community, the full complicated history is all here, told compellingly. If you have two hours watch it!

Side note, I never realised a certain Paul Weller was in it… as a grandad! That does make me feel old #movies
