#TransRightsReadathon #3

Grease Bats by Archie Bongiovanni. Comic strip collection about a twenty-something friend group trying to live their best queer lives despite politics, brokeness, terrible decision making, and imposter syndrome.

I like the style of several short , punchy strips that are part of a longer story. The art is, probably deliberately, kind of messy.

It hurts that the political content is still/again relevant, but this is mostly a joy to read.

For #TransRightsReadathon I invite people to consider reading my debut work, Revin's Heart. It's a steampunky fantasy adventure with pirates and airships and a trans protagonist. It was originally serialized as seven novelettes (you can get the first for free), but the collected edition has three fun side-stories you can't get anywhere else. waterdragonpublishing.com/prod

For Trans Rights Readathon, I'll be reading Name Her Holy by Aubrey Ennis!

Very likely won't finish it within the event's time frame, but I'm looking forward to diving into it all the same! 😄

And if you're looking for a book written by a trans author, may I recommend my own child, This Is How Immortals Die?! 😁💜

Read MODEL HOME by Rivers Solomon if you love quintessential queer black literature, haunted houses, fractured families, sprawling suburbs, loving cups of tea, gut-punching prose, late night sanctuary diners, Jenny Holzer's Abuse of Power, Mothers, dissociating, running away & the unexplainable.

Loose Kanin launches today! This is book 2 of my friend's Glass Kanin series, and it is an amazing, funny, heart wrenching ride!
(From the author): If you like LitRPG and wish it was more queer, or if you don't like LitRPG but are willing to read a weird, gay book about a man made out of glass, Books 1 & 2 (Glass Kanin and Loose Kanin) are on sale this week!

I’m looking for suggestions for the March vote of the QRC. The theme is historicals. I have a few on my list, but some are probably more historical than, ah, romantical 😊 and obviously a central queer (in any shape or form) relationship is required.

Indies/lesser known authors encouraged but the books need to be widely available (no Amazon-only books, library accessible).
