"I've Seen All Good People" is a song by the English #progressiveRock band #Yes, written by frontman #JonAnderson and bassist #ChrisSquire and recorded on their third studio album, The Yes Album (1971). The almost 7-minute song is in two parts; the first, titled "Your Move", was released as a single in 1971 which peaked at number 40 in the US, which helped the group build momentum. The second part is entitled "All Good People".

New #review today: "With True, we find #JonAnderson fronting a group called #TheBandGeeks, and it seems that the name is appropriate — they sound like the kind of geeky musicians who learned how to play classic #Yes tunes note-for-note. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing. Classical musicians certainly learn to play their favored repertoire note-for-note, and we don’t fault them for it..." #ExposeOnline #ProgressiveRock expose.org/index.php/articles/

Sitting here in the television
Looking at the tube
Sitting next to me
He's not been very well lately
He told me so
He's been crying
A little bit
And I ain't lyin'
But we're sitting it out
Watching "Match of the Day"
You know we've all gotta go anyway
I said we've all gotta go anyway
And I wouldn't mind being last in line
To see such joy and fruitfulness
When everyone discovers short stories

From the #JonAnderson & #Vangelis album Short Stories.

A great favourite of mine, both musical & lyrically. A song I have always, increasingly so nowadays, felt great affinity with.

@ariarmstrongwriter Still disappointed that #SteveHowe, #ChisSquire, and #AlanWhite found a new singer in 2008 rather than waiting for #JonAnderson to recover from acute respiratory failure, and then did it *again* in 2012 after *that* guy came down with respiratory problems.

Then Squire passed in 2015, leaving us 2001’s “Magnification” as the last studio album with his and Anderson’s vocal harmonies that were absolutely essential to the #Yes sound: songwhip.com/yes/magnification 😒

“Perpetually overlooked… the right album at the wrong time. It’s fascinating to hear Jon Anderson’s voice sounding rather throaty and, well, dirty”: Yes’ Talk 30th Anniversary edition
An untitled Trevor Rabin instrumental and an incredible 10-minute demo of Endless Dream crown the bonus elements of the 1994 ‘Yes West’ record.
