My human acquaintance took some photos of their sign before it got all rained on and structurally compromised. It was a cardboard file box lid. The obverse is "FOLLOW OUR MONEY", and the reverse is the three arrows. #HandsOff #Indianapolis

They really should get their own social media accounts. But I guess it's a small price to pay to post stuff on their behalf sometimes, so long as they're paying for my network connection.

Circle Centre Mall’s major, open-air redevelopment

"The south block of Circle Centre Mall, between Illinois and Meridian streets and Maryland and Georgia streets, was to close for construction Tuesday. The Omni Severin Hotel skywalk will be closed and removed. All stores in a section of the mall were vacated."

Do Indy people use the skywalks a lot? I'm there quite a bit but always on the sidewalks.

That was honestly one of if not the worst storm we’ve had come through here in the 13 years we’ve been in this house. Very wild.

I did a quick walk around the property and I don’t see any damage, but obviously I’ll have to check in the morning light.

The worst of it looks to have gone *just* north of us. We’re probably quite lucky the storm was moving northeast and not just east.

Sheesh.

🚨 Warning: "Significant, multiple violent Tornado" Threats. The major cities of #Cincinnati, #Indianapolis, #StLouis, #Nashville, #Memphis & #LittleRock and their suburban and rural neighbors are all within this risk. #Weather #WX

Eastern Rural #Cincinnati #Ohio, esp counties bordering the Ohio River, expect the worse to hit around 1AM tonight. The storms are supposed to start around 7pm Wednesday through 5am Thursday for the Cincinnati area

This area is where there is a greater probability for violent tornadoes today

I am feeling better, which means that I have resumed my performance at the Indy Art Center. Every day* (weekend, weekday, rain, shine) I come and add to an ongoing embroidery, where I add a new number for each new day since the full-scale invasion.

My goal is to show people that war isn't just a news bit that I can skip or take a break from. I encourage people to participate in non-trivial, interpersonal memorial practices. We HAVE to remember.

*Except events by IAC and sickness

Every day, rain or shine, weekend or weekday at 12:30, I come to the library of Indy Art Center to embroider a number for each day of russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

You can come, ponder, reflect, and/or talk to me afterwards.

Today was day 1122, and day 4 of this project
