Nothing says “mi casa es tu casa” like a bouquet of long-dead flowers smooshed lovingly to a window grate.

A traditional Japanese row house with tiled roofing and a facade that tells its own story in textures—wood, rust, vinyl siding, and concrete. The upstairs bamboo screen is barely hanging on, shielding a balcony that hasn’t seen activity in a while.
