The garden has come to life in the week I was away!

A large red rectangular wooden planter on grey gravel. In the planter are blooming grape hyacinth, daffodils, red tulips, and lots of green leaves. Behind it is an old church pew with a few empty planters on it and a white door to the side.

It's so freaking beautiful here!

Blessings of the spring equinox. The world is terrible and yet, She persists.

Purple crocuses pushing up through brown maple leaves. There are tiny beads of rain on the petals. A lichen covered stick is off to the side.

Various kinds and shades of moss grow over and around rocks that have striations. The rocks are wet with rain.

Spring Equinox ritual this year, creating this little circle as a place to leave offerings, and just sit by. I'll use it til it gets disturbed by deer or whatever.
Just a little meditative space, made from items gathered on the way this morning. (The daffodils were found damaged.)

On the ground is a circle made of small stones and old moss. There are four pine cones at top, bottom and sides. A daffodil lies on either side and there are bits of wood encircling the stones. In the centre is a bit of lichen and a couple of snail shells.

Grape hyacinth starting to show, soon there will be purple everywhere!

Slim bright green leaves emerging from dark, wet earth. In the centre of the leaves is a growing head of grape hyacinth flower, which looks like a dense triangle of small purple heads. These are one of the early flowers we get here in central Scotland, a very welcome sign of spring in my favourite colour, purple!

Morning lovely souls how's everyone doing?

I'm feeling less burnt out today, thankfully! Had a nice walk with Fester that didn't end in crying because of traffic noise, definitely a better start to the day!

A clump of snowdrops among old leaves from last year and bursts of new green growth. Behind the flowers is a large tree by a river, with a blue staffy under the tree.

Consciously engaging with the natural world on my daily dog walks is a huge part of my personal wellbeing toolkit. Gets me out of my head a little, reminds me how much gorgeousness there is out there!
