Good morning from #Pasadena. ☁️ atm and cool: 18°c (64°F). Forecast calling for 🌤️ & 27°c (81°F).

Back from the dog park and trying to figure out where to start my day with way-too-long list. It doesn’t help that the heatwave set me back and that the first truly cool day (yesterday) I had a 7-hour #afib episode that forced me to spend the day resting. I was overdue for rest… and I’m feeling much better today.

Hoping everyone is well and weekend-ready! Have a good day!

Good afternoon from #Pasadena. Rough day. Started with an #Afib episode at 3am & went on for over 5 hours. Trouble breathing. If this ever happens to you, don't rule out heart issues and side with #PanicAttack. I went on 15 years with Afib due to this kind of thinking supported by awful doctors.

Very unusual to have afib again as I had an ablation years ago and it generally only triggers after major sugery, but I think it was triggered by a combination of lack of sleep and stress from very abusive staff people at my new dermatologist (over the phone,; I have not yet been there) which sent my heart racing briefly (see chart). I'm using #MakeVisible aka #Visible heart monitoring and pace-setting atm and it's been so #HELPFUL!!!

Considered canceling, but must go. So this will be when I start taking #MosesTheServiceDog to med appts to avoid meltdown if abusive in person as well. So he's getting a good brush and grooming & we're going together, as a team.

Amazing how abusive some doctors' offices are. Hadn't had such an experience since visting a bad neurologist who started w a big sigh, looked at my chart for first time, zeroed in on Rx list & said it was no wonder I felt tired, that I was a walking chemistry experiment…

Hoping your day is going better than mine though mine has improved tremendously!! ❤️

#ParkRun kicked my ass all over the place this morning. Frustrating recurrence of #AFib (#AtrialFibrillation) which presents as shutting my body down whenever my heart rate gets to a certain point. So 5 minutes in all the air leaves my body, I get tunnel vision then start to black out. Of course as soon as my heart rate comes back down I'm fine again. Trish wanted me to just walk round, but I hate that so instead did a long series of stop/start running, punctuated by occasionally having to crouch so I didn't faint, then after pushing myself at the end.... having to have a bit of a lay down on the floor, which I have to tell you made everyone VERY nervous, despite me assuring them I'd be fine. Was talking to one of the Marshals I like who's in a wheelchair about it and going on about how much I hate walking round, to which he pointed out I was a fucking idiot and he'd love to be walking round... 🫠.

But!.... I did it. And like the Marshal said; better to be out and about and getting round in any time than not doing it at all. Which of course is right and I guess I'm just going to have to up the beta blockers and take it a little easier for a minute. Which is annoying for someone like me who's only about 24 years old.

Whinge whinge moan. I'm very lucky really! And it's a lovely day. I hope anyone bothering to read this load of old shit is fantastically well and that you have literally the best day you've ever had in your LIFE! All downhill from here, baby! This is the best you get and then you die. Sorry I don't make the rules. 🤷
