I wonder what ever happened to the Light Rail plan proposed in 2012 by Senior District Planner Carl Jackson?🤔It was planned for 2030 development.

- CNU
- Riverside Hospital
- City Center
- Patrick Henry Mall
- Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport

The current ETA for public transportation from CNU to the Newport News/Williamsburg airport is 56 minutes vs a 14 minute drive (assuming there's no traffic).

an improved public transportation system would improve the lives of many residents whether it's the impact of their commute or going to do errands.

Not to mention the absurd amount of pedestrian accidents on the many dangerous intersections of that lack crosswalks and pedestrian crossing signals at even major intersections like Bland Blvd / Jefferson Ave.
