A Razorbill (Alca torda) beak. This adult was killed and eaten by a Peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus) with just the beak left behind. A bit grizzly but a perfect chance to get a closer look. The feathers feel like velvet!!

A Leptocephalus - They are a larval stage in an eels life cycle. This one seems to be of a Conger eel.

Common Frog (Rana temporaria) tadpoles developing in bog and quarry pools all over the place at the moment. If you look closely you can see a few that still have their external gills showing.

Common Scurvy grass (Cochlearia officinalis) beginning to flower along the coast. As the name suggests, this was used as a treatment for Scurvy in the past due to its high levels of vitamin C. Unless you think you're coming down with Scurvy, I wouldn't bother trying it as tastes pretty rough

A Septarian nodule with fools gold (iron pyrite) encrusted veins. Basically a fancy fossilized mud bubble.
