So I have been playing Luanti (Minetest) and VoxeLibre (Mineclone2) and there are way, way too many mobs. like 6 stalkers ,10 spiders, 5 skeletons and 8 zombies all in one area too many. I've been trying other mods, settings, and .lua edits to try to reduce the creatures but there doesn't seem to be any change. Anyone know how to reduce the mobs in VoxeLibre?

I don't even have a joke this time... holy smokes how did I get to 1,300 of you?!~ :rain_explode2:

As for why I chose #Mineclonia over #VoxeLibre, it's a combination of things, mainly that its last release was like a week ago, whereas the other's last release was nearly a year ago. People reported things like better performance, and reading a feature comparison made me lean more towards Mineclonia. The main claim is that it's cleaned up and better maintained. I suppose a good argument in favor of VoxeLibre might be that it features more content? I'll just play both and then decide.

In my recent poll #VoxeLibre beat #Mineclonia with only one person voting. Not a very good turnout. I've not played #Luanti (formerly #Minetest) in several years. I hated it, but was told that the game isn't really playable without mods. Luanti's launcher has come a long way in helping me understand that Luanti isn't really a game but rather an engine. It made it easy for me to find and install the game that I wanted. Excellent! What both Luanti and Mineclone (VoxeLibre et al.) have done is incredible. I've been playing Minecraft for over ten years, and while it isn't Minecraft, it's so close that I forget it isn't. In some aspects they improved the game, but in others it falls slightly short, possibly due to engine behavior.
