5 Months of Poliworks/ENPOLISHED

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 5 months since we started this journey on November 2nd.

So much has happened, and looking back at everything we've accomplished feels pretty incredible. Huge thanks to everyone who’s been here till now.

"Impression, Sunrise," Claude Monet, 1872.

Monet needs no introduction, but this canvas deserves note.

In 1874, this was first exhibited as part of a group of artists who had similar outlooks. The title of "Impression, Sunrise" actually ended up giving the Impressionist movement its name.

Depicting the port of Le Havre (Monet's home), some of accused it of being unfinished and Monet being a sort of con artist in claiming it was only an "impression." But...I think that's sour grapes. Definitely a lovely image.
