I woke up with the ideas for today's #inkyDays drawing this morning. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I liked it so much that I did the pattern on watercolor paper.

I love blue! So, of course, I had to draw these penguins in blue inks. Inspired by today's #inkyDays drawing, I also added orange ink for the feet.

Inspiration for my daily #inkyDays drawings mostly come from science, nature, and mathematics. But sometimes it comes from current events, and my need to process them.

So, today, I've made my first attempt to draw penguins in a way that works with my techniques. I'm a little surprised at how cute they turned out, when I was angry while drawing them.

Today, I felt like drawing a comforting floral pattern. So I did.
