I was awoken by a Tawny owl starting the dawn chorus

And good morning, Moon!

The dawn chorus was particularly loud this morning, although the birds don't seem to be waiting for dawn to get going, they were in full chorus at 3am, a sure sign of Spring for real.

A few weeks ago a friend took me to this beautiful beaver pond. I left my recorder out to capture the nighttime frogs and dawn chorus; if you're looking for a nice long nature recording to set the mood, here is two hours of bliss....
