ALL newsmedia seems to have waay too much contextualizing problems in terms of economic fears and tariff distresses and not nearly enough context about the totally fascist gov, threats to sovereignty, and innocent people in concentration camps.

The Canadians whom are going to avoid the US for the foreseeable future care about tariffs but they honestly care much more about fascistic governments and concentration camps.

MOST #Canadian #newsmedia is failing to grasp this.

Canada's CBC News depicts PM candidate Mark Carney smiling over a bon mot w/ disgraced sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein.

This shortly after coverage excoriating (rightly) the mayor of Peterborough for using the n-word while referencing its historical use by racists (versus aiming it directly—either instance obviously reprehensible).

We've just started watching a fantastic series called North of North. The series is successful on so many levels, with a great cast, writing, and community. Highly recommend.

It’s an absolute joy of a show that looks misogyny, settler paternalism and intergenerational trauma directly in the eye but still leaves one feeling delighted, cheering on Siaja’s journey as a young ‘modern Inuk woman’ episode by episode.

A CBC-ATPN coproduction with Netflix, it ran weekly on CBC Gem earlier this year in Canada.

It deserves all the viewing minutes globally.

Starting a rewatch is what I needed this week.
