And lastly, I'm trying to find storm chasers to follow here on the Fediverse. I know a lot of have moved from Twitter to Bluesky, but I was really hoping to find a good number of folks on Mastodon and such. With resources for NOAA and related in question, it's good to get as much information from boots on the ground as possible. I'll follow Bluesky but I'd rather follow Mastodon. #stormchaser #stormchasing

And I am really resistant to chasing east of I-35 again this year. I did not enjoy my chase to Des Moines last year. Too many trees. I might go in the direction of Little Rock if the situation arises, but I'm even iffy on that. I like having wide open spaces where I can easily see what's going on.

Godspeed to the storm chasers that go all over Dixie Alley. That's just not my jam. #stormchaser

This is the most frightening (and impressive) storm chase video I have ever seen. Also, some of the best footage of horizontal vortices around the central vertical vortex that I think has ever been made. Brandon Copic saves two truckers, documents the power of a dangerous storm, and survives to share it with us.
