10/ If one looks closely, one can see that actually two slightly different AR-924 #pagers are shown: the newer one from 2022-10-10 gained small nubs on the buttons. My guess (see below) is that they are status LEDs.
So, whoever built them created multiple revisions.

Democracy Now! · Israel Bombs Lebanon After Blowing Up Pagers in “Act of Mass Mutilation.” Is Ground Invasion Next?By Democracy Now!

On X this video is circulating. It's traces of rockets fired from Lebanon to Israel, but they turn back to the place they was launched from. New hack by Israel? After Hezbollah is already humiliated to the bones, this would be too funny if after pagers, radios and solar panels their own rockets fly at them.

Some claim it's Iron Dome, but confirmed Iron Dome launches are looking a little different. I have not seen it covered by other news, but I am very curious to find out what's really behind it.

"They probably thought the world would applaud. The Israeli planners behind one of the most spectacular intelligence actions in the country’s history – targeting thousands of Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon and beyond by exploding the pagers in their pockets – would certainly have expected an ovation for the sheer audaciousness of it."

"It was not purely the scale of the attack – substantial though it was – that caused shock and disbelief among the Lebanese, but the pervasiveness of it. Doctors tossed away their pagers, wedding planners dispensed with their walkie-talkies, and parents disconnected their baby monitors."

The Guardian · The device bombs were in our living rooms, in our pockets, in our faces. Beirut is terrifiedBy Naji Bakhti

"You have the shock of Tuesday, when all of these pagers exploded, killing 12 people, injuring close to 3,000, and then, yesterday, more explosions in walkie-talkies and not clear what other electronic devices. The total, 37 dead, what, something like 3,500 people injured."

In a coordinated attack the Gold Apollo branded #pagers detonated on Tues across #Hezbollah's strongholds of south #Lebanon, Beirut's suburbs & the eastern Bekaa valley. Up to 3 grams of explosives hidden in the pagers had gone undetected for months by Hezbollah.

One of the #security sources said it was very hard to detect the explosives "with any device or scanner." The source did not specify what type of scanners Hezbollah had run the pagers through.

Exclusive: #Hezbollah handed out #pagers hours before blasts

#Lebanon's Hezbollah was still handing its members new Gold Apollo branded pagers hours before thousands blew up this week, 2 #security sources said, indicating the group was confident the devices were safe despite an ongoing sweep of electronic kit to ID threats.
One member of the #Iran-backed militia received a new pager on Monday that exploded the next day while it was still in its box.
