I WONDER WHAT COULD BE DRIVING THAT?!
It now looks like Jeremy Hunt's panicking about the OBR review was largely misplaced as the 'mistake' is less than Labour's 'discovered' fiscal 'black hole' while blame is depersonalised & broadly linked to the circumstances in which the forecasts were prepared.
While some blame might be inferred from the subsequent recommendations, it looks like Hunt has dodged a bullet.
But given his panic, it would be interesting to know what he feared they'd found!
