Two things:

1. Tonight's watercolor creature from the book is a manatee!!!

2. I'm super impressed with this Pentel Neo-Sable pointed round brush (size "18") for use with watercolor. Great load capacity (brush can hold water) and excellent sharp point for an *extremely* reasonable price. (Got mine for just USD 6.75 on JetPens.) Also like the squared ends to keep it from rolling off the table.

A friend just sent this photo of a #manatee in Mt Dora lake, not one known for them. Apparently it just scared away a gator.

A couple of weeks ago #USFWS proposed that the Antillean manatee (as seen in #PuertoRico) be added to the #endangeredSpecies list, but not the #Florida #manatee.
