A literal #GhostTown. The #ClunePark area of #PortGlasgow, including sandstone #tenements and a #church, has been largely empty for 30 years, and is now being demolished. This freak #photo was taken from a moving #train. #Inverclyde has lost a large proportion of its population in recent decades
Replica of the paddle steamer "Comet" on display in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, seen before its removal. She was built in the town for Henry Bell in 1812, and went on operate Europe's first commercially viable passenger steamboat service.
