I spent my last full day in Japan with a lot of fun and not much napping. I made a visit to Hiroshima Castle, rode the Shinkansen bullet train to Fukuoka, visited the Fukuoka Castle ruins, ascended Hakata Port Tower, and checked out a Fukuoka’s yatai (food stalls).

I can’t believe that in less than 24 hours I will be in another new country!

I did a lot of traveling today, starting with an early morning bike ride across many bridges in Tokyo, having some fun shopping in Shibuya, taking the Shinkansen bullet trains (2 of them) to Hiroshima, enjoying Hiroshima’s signature dish (okonomiyaki), and walking at night around Hiroshima.

I’m now in City #2 of my trip!

Somehow I missed #BulletTrain (2022) when it came out. Just watched it, and I'm surprised it didn't come to my notice before then, but I guess it was kind of panned by critics.

It's not life-changing but if you enjoy a good Fiasco movie, it's got all the pieces: flashbacks, a briefcase full of money, an assassin, revenge, bad luck, and so on.
