Und nach dem Abendessen, weil's grade so schön Wetter war, nochmal #rausgeschafft, von Oberlauchringen über den Ausläufer des Randen in Richtung Kadelburg, dann aber am nördlichen Hang entlang nochmal bis Bechtersbohl und im Kotbachtal wieder zurück. Waren zwar nur 9km, dafür aber 208 Höhenmeter. Also insgesamt heute 30km und gute 400 Höhenmeter. Höchstgeschwindigkeit heute ca. 57km/h.
Heute sogar 2x #rausgeschafft: Einmal dank Tritt von @nitram 
vor dem Abendessen 21km und 200 Höhenmeter von Lauchringen über Bechtersbohl, Dangstetten, Rheinheim, Kadelburg, Ettikon (in Deutschland!) und bei Homburg (nicht das im Saarland) über den Bürgerwald und entlang der Wutach geradelt und pünktlich zum Abendessen wieder zurück gewesen. Davon ca. ein Drittel der Strecke zusammen mit @nitram unterwegs gewesen.
@ascentale #BikeNite A5. I currently have 3 bikes, my #Brompton, my ~20 year old flat bar road bike, and a late ‘70s schwinn that I built into a singlespeed/fixie a few years back. My heart keeps telling me I want a bakfiets, but I have nowhere for it to live. Perhaps one day I may acquire a garage.

@ascentale @bikenite #BikeNite A1: Posting from Lauchringen, Germany. Mostly was worried about my commute: My frictionwheel based 16" #Brompton e-bike no more slips through since it got new rims, but now the spokes hit the cooling fins of the engines at speed. New friction rings may help, otherwise I need to file down the fins. And my 20" #ElectricGLine had battery contact issues. Luckily was able to solve them by inserting the battery into its frame before mounting the front bag onto the frame.
Ha, mein #Brompton ist wieder elektrisch. Es war, wie schon vermutet, das Display, das den Regen nicht überlebt hatte. Gab’s als Ersatzteil. Nu löppt dat alweer.

This platanus tree and I got to know each other more than 60 years ago. My school is only 10 minutes from this place in the Stadtpark in Graz, Austria. I passed by this tree twice a day, on my way to school and back. In drawing class, our teacher took us here to have a detailed look at plants, and also draw and paint them. I am grateful since my appreciation for nature grew early on. Now I sit here under the tree, listen to the birds, and watch the children play.
Heute beim #mdRnH zwar entfernungsmässig keinen Umweg gemacht, höhenmetermässig aber schon. Bin mal wieder durch dem #Käferberg-Wald geradelt, allerdings zumindest am Anfang auf einer steilen Strecke, die ich mit dem #Brompton #ElectricGLine bisher noch nicht und auch sonst schon länger nicht mehr geradelt bin. Und ich bin sie trotz nur 4 Gängen zum ersten Mal ohne Schieben hoch gekommen. 
I did two longer bicycle trips with my Brompton this year. The first one from Vienna, Austria, to Bamberg, Germany; and the second one from Berlin to Bamberg. Together, this was two weeks of bicycling in splendid spring weather with not one rainy day. Although the weather was perfect for bicycling, the drought causes plenty of clearly visable troubles for forests, farming, and river traffic. But this is another story.

My Brompton and every now and then a train. I love this combination for travelling. I am about to reach my destination, Graz, Austria. I will stay here until after Easter and most likely eat too much.
I have successfully finished the first leg of this year's Easter Tour. Within 6 days, I bicycled almost 500 km from Berlin to Nuremberg, Germany. Yesterday, I took the help of trains, though. Now I am on a train to Munich, and then on to Austria. I am very grateful to all the people I have met along this trip. This world is a lot better place than what one can read in the news.

gedreht.
Problem ist schon wieder und jetzt mehr denn je der Kontakt des Akkus zum Fahrrad. Der funktioniert jetzt fast nur noch, wenn ich mit dem Daumen kräftig oben auf den Akku (und nicht den Taschenrahmen) drücke.

I grew up in a small village, and our neighbour had the only cherry tree in the village. My parents made sure that we kids did not jump over the fence and steal some cherries in early summer. Thus, cherries became the forbidden fruit in my childhood paradise. Later in my life, cherry trees always attracted me more than any other plant. Today, I was treated with quite a few in Franconia, Germany.
Wo kann ich in der Region Wil SG mein #Brompton reparieren lassen? Die Suchmaschinen verweisen auf brompton.ch, aber da steht "maintenance", auf leerem Grund.
One does not need much when touring with a bicycle. A piece of bread, an apple, some water, and for real luxury a bit of sunshine. I am currently in Thüringen, Germany.
