I want to throw out a big #HotDamn to 20 years of #softwaredevelopment . I recently bought a used #Behringer #BCF2000 which had a #SysEx editor last developed in 2004 in #Java available for download from the official website. I downloaded the software to my #Fedora system and it recognized the device over the modern #Linux #USB interface and worked like a champ.
Well done, 20 years of #software develoment and backwards compatibility!

"Crawfish Bucket Brigade Part I" was all done on the #Behringer #Neutron. It is monophonic, (well, technically paraphonic 2 voice), but the filter can be mixed separately and then there is the noise source and the bucket brigade delay itself brings another layer, and depending on the mix level, a variety.

Another experiment in #minimalist #ambient #music with the portable #Behringer #Neutron. The built in delay & distortion built into it helps a lot, I don't have to carry much to make complete tracks. Sequenced from the #Korg SQ1. Recorded in the great outdoors directly to a Tascam digital recorder. Great North Carolina weather recently, so these sessions are doubly enjoyable.

In the back, with cover and reverb tank removed. Bottom 1U has the power supply, a USB port, a strymon level converter and a midi to cv converter (the 3u modules are mounted in abyss devices adapters and adapter mounted to front rails back through long standoffs)
Cables are held in place through plastic clamps, fixed to the vector rails and power bus held by screws.
My system 100m tribute system (#behringer modules in a custom case, with 1u modules replicating the functionality of a 191J chassis. 1u modules include a CV din input for keyboard I finished last week, a logo, 3 multiples, a reverb and mini banana 3.5 conversion and power on/off. It turns out that I can use the Behringer Bass overdrive pedal well 
when I want a slight amount of effect applied to the Bass signal. Make no mistake it is also achieved with any of the Joyo Overdrive pedals. The difference is that with the Behringer it takes longer before the effect is prominent.
The same approach to add multiples to my #eurorack #modulars can be also used to add multiples to semimodulars such as the #behringer #neutron (and similar eurorack compatible skiffs). I added small L brackets to the side screws, then mounted short standoffs, then finally mount the 3U module to the standoffs. #diy #studio #music #synth
I've run an early Bass session today. The setup of my effects are in the photographs
I can dwell on them, if you would want some extra information; the hashtags tell you which brands of pedals I use even though they are clearly visible in the photographs
2HP Kick & pocket radio + Bastl Skis generating the sounds. korg mixer is clock source sent to pachinko & to Trig Divider giving a variety of rhythmic patterns between the two. I can combine triggers with Or widgets (for ex, on 2 and 5). Radio headphone out is too low for eurorack so am using the #behringer #radar as gain.
The nice thing about using a real analog radio (am, Fm, shortwave) is that you never know what you'll get
The mostly complete portable lunchbox #eurorack #modular #synth. This config is with the passive mixer & korg oscilloscope. I swapped the #behringer chaos for a Michigan synthworks #pachinko, allowing me to put back my dual EG/VCA. Also temporarily borrowed a 2hp hat and freez from my other modular. will replace hat with a klavis tweekers once back in stock. Skis will do hats.
This relies on pachinko for the clock and divider for kick and snare. Bell and Beehive do the tonal stuff
Testing fit of faceplate of #behringer cm1a. Barely fits between power switch and ground post on the left side of the #pulplogic case. Took me a while to get to this point.
Music Tribe support asked me to send them a video to figure out what is going on. That;s a first for me. But I did, and I hope they figure out the issue with my behringer chaos. It is a clone of a Mutable Instruments Marbles, but no space saving like say, a uMarbles or Pachinko.
Well, the #behringer chaos was behaving in a chaotic manner on external clock, be it from the korg volca mix or any other clock. T2 was not matching the lock. Apparently fixed in firmware 1.4. So I updated, and now the clock works as expected but all the control voltage outputs for X are no op. Anybody else seen this? #eurorack #synth #modular #support #musictribe

Do I have too many drum machines? nonsense, you can never have too many drum machines.
@tiredhorizon the only thing is that since they are flat, they are not the most ergonomic. Would have been nice if the sides were angled or there was a leg, akin the Roland boutique. The solution for me was to get a small acrylic support that is supposed to be for a mini computer keyboard (how odd, that would be the opposite angle of what I;d want for a keyboard).
