Canadians and Greenlanders might like to know that multiple protesters at the Hands Off rally in Washington DC on April 5, 2025 carried signs with slogans like "Greenland is not for sale" and "Hands off Canada".

Other signs that I liked included:

"God sent Trump because he ran out of locusts."

"I'm a better Christian than any Trump supporter, and I'm an atheist."

"Back to Democracy" [written in the same font as the "Back to the Future" movie title]

"Trump and Musk need therapy, not power."

Turnout was excellent, despite there being simultaneous protests for other causes (including Gaza) in other parts of the city.
