It looks like they're doing new berm work near the southern coast road. There's a temp cam at the southern tip of berm L13 which snaps a photo every ten minutes.

It may be they're going to try to further divert the approaching lava front to try to avoid it crossing through some of the farms in the area.

The farmers weren't any too happy that the Grindavik wall was designed in such a way as to push the lava their way!
