Simple Nomad<p>This is opinion only, no science behind it. I am a weather nerd living in tornado alley and a former stormchaser. I've noticed that there will be weather forecasts for "possible storms, maybe 60 mph winds and half inch hail" and we end up with multiple severe storms, 70-80 mph winds, 1.5 to 2.5 inch hail, and multiple tornadoes. Why are the forecasts so often underestimating the intensity as of late? Again, my opinion, but the various weather prediction models that go back decades to when the impacts of climate change weren't so apparent so it could very well be the influence of these older datasets. Regardless, interesting.</p><p><a href="https://rigor-mortis.nmrc.org/tags/solarpunk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>solarpunk</span></a> <a href="https://rigor-mortis.nmrc.org/tags/weather" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>weather</span></a> <a href="https://rigor-mortis.nmrc.org/tags/climate" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>climate</span></a></p>
