This Is My GlasgowA Classical style pavilion on a terrace of 1860s townhouses in Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. This Is My GlasgowSoft City, a community art project which explores the history of social and retail spaces on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. This Is My GlasgowGhost building on Renfrew Lane in Glasgow. BarryWe tried a photo project this trip back to Glasgow, to use old photos in their current areas. Here is the art-deco Beresford building/hotel, on Sauchiehall Street, where I misspent much of my youth, queuing for the garage next door too many times. This Is My GlasgowThe grand entrance to the former La Scala cinema on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. Originally a warehouse, it was converted into a cinema at the start of the 20th Century. Designed by Duff and McKissack, it originally seated 1,000 people. This Is My GlasgowWhy is Glasgow City Council even considering an application to demolish the C-Listed former ABC cinema (top), when there is an unused empty plot which is spewing millions of buddleja seeds across the city just a few hundred metres down the same street (bottom)?
