Whoever's boat is missing here at this gap, please keep it away for some time longer. 🤣 The Adriaan Windmill (Molen De Adriaan) is one of Haarlem's most famous landmarks, offering a glimpse into the Netherlands' rich windmill tradition. Originally constructed in 1779 as a wind-powered factory for grinding tuff stone into trass (used in cement). Later, it was converted into a grain mill. The original windmill burned down in 1932, but after decades of fundraising and planning, it was rebuilt in 2002 in its historic form.
