Sven Sachs<p>I wrote a little contribution about Microcleidus macropterus, a plesiosauroid plesiosaur from the Lower Jurassic of Yorkshire (United Kingdom) The specimen is on display at the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences in Cambridge. He found a rostrum in a dried creek bank. He and his brother removed some soil and found the rest of the skull and some neck vertebra. </p><p>Later that year, a team from the Queensland Museum excavated the fossils. It turned out to be one of the most complete fossils of a polycotylid in Australia.</p>
