Bobbing BoatBy a rural field, I saw a worker waiting on the offside bank of the canal, rubber suit wet up to his chest, holding up a bucket like he didn't want it to get wet. Then I spotted another worker in the shallow water by the offside bank, with a spade.No path, no boat. How'd they get there?Once I boated past, they waded in to cross the canal, back to the towpath side.
