They're terrible. (Thread above.)</p><p>I'm still trying to figure this out. Does it know less about us than we thought? Or does it have reasons not to use what it knows to serve us?</p>

Scott Williams 🐧<p>I've decided to try <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Flipboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Flipboard</span></a> again as a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/GoogleNews" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoogleNews</span></a> alternative. I don't like the interface as much and the ads are not intrusive, but I like that it has some <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/fediverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fediverse</span></a> integrations with <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/pixelfed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pixelfed</span></a>. There's also apparently a YouTube integration, but it failed to connect for me.</p>
