Heather Evans<p>Good evening guys. I’m home &amp; all settled down for the evening. Unpacked &amp; everything put away, washing is done, had dinner &amp; I’m in my PJs. <br>I won’t be long out of bed tonight, I have to be up by 5.30am &amp; out the door just after 6am to catch a bus to Melbourne at 6.30am to visit the International Flower Show down there. This is a new experience for me, I usually sort myself out for things I want to do. First time I’ve done anything fully organised like this &amp; I don’t want to be late. It should be fun - we are picking my friend up as we hit Chiltern, so I’ll be saving the seat next to me for her. <br>Got my electricity bill today via email &amp; I’m not unhappy. With the 20% discount from the provider, the winter energy concession I get each year &amp; the $75 courtesy of the Labor government, my bill was just $300 + a few cents! I’ve used the aircon so much this summer, more than I’ve done in years I was a bit concerned as to how high it would be, so this is good. <br>I won’t be on here much tomorrow, if at all. So I wish you all a fabulous <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Saturday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Saturday</span></a>. acm<p>Flower Show, abstractions zone... There are a lot of conceptual categories that lead to interesting art. acm<p>Hooo boy, went to the Philadelphia Flower Show today, and I Have Some Photos! It's always a wealth of visual stimulus, from giant professional landscape installations to little individual specimens of perplexing succulent weirdness or dried flowers made into abstract art. Love it all, and totally burn out after about two hours, so guaranteed not to see everything!
