PLA (Polylactid) ist ein biobasierter Kunststoff, z. B. aus Mais oder Zuckerrohr. Klingt umweltfreundlich – ist aber nur auf den ersten Blick „grün“. ✅ Vorteile: • Biobasiert statt auf Erdölbasis • Industriell kompostierbar (unter Bedingungen) • Ungiftig im Alltag (kein BPA, lebensmitteltauglich) ❌ Nachteile: • Nicht heimkompostierbar – braucht Spezialanlagen • Pestizide & Monokulturen beim Rohstoffanbau • Kein echtes Recycling – oft Verbrennung statt Wiederverwertung Fazit: PLA ersetzt fossiles Plastik, aber nicht das Einwegproblem.
