The season actually has consequences, you can't just phone it in, if you do, you go down a league. Bill Reese<p>I spent most of the weekend with family and missed the extremely sad news of Joe Goldstein's passing. Among other things, he was the longtime co-host of the Seeing Red podcast (covering the New York Red Bulls and <a href="https://mastodon.cloud/tags/MLS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MLS</span></a>) and Raising Bulls (which covered Red Bulls II of <a href="https://mastodon.cloud/tags/USL" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>USL</span></a>). </p><p>He was an extremely nice man who loved our silly little soccer club and helped grow and nurture the fandom of countless others. </p><p>My thoughts are with his family and the greater <a href="https://mastodon.cloud/tags/RBNY" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RBNY</span></a> community. </p><p>Seriously, fuck cancer.</p>
