Léa in the sky 🪁<p>This year i want to learn to draw and design cool vehicle, so what's better than studying the grand master Toriyama 💫 </p><p>My redraw vs the original</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/mastoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastoArt</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/ink" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ink</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/watercolor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>watercolor</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.art/tags/toriyama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>toriyama</span></a></p>
N Toyohito / 縁 豊人<p>With <a href="https://comicscamp.club/tags/toriyama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>toriyama</span></a> 's passing amongst Dragonball and Dr. Slump, Chrono Trigger was mentioned. I never played it but I've seen it's characters a lot of times. As per usual jRPGs are shipped with an amazing OST. Gave it a listen. For the foreseeable future I will keep it going whenever I grab a brush to ink and a pencil to sketch comic pages. It gives me the necessary serenity and calm to be immersed into what I'm doing. The creative side, not the concentration side... The master will always show the path and guide....</p>
Mike Stevens :ohno:<p>Aw man I completely missed this news! I never really loved <a href="https://aus.social/tags/DBZ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DBZ</span></a> (I was always into the fun scenes more than the fights), but the original <a href="https://aus.social/tags/DragonBall" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DragonBall</span></a> series with <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Goku" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Goku</span></a> as a child was immensely significant in my early love for <a href="https://aus.social/tags/anime" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>anime</span></a>. He did other work too of course, but young Goku and friends will always be my goat. <a href="https://aus.social/tags/AkiraToriyama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AkiraToriyama</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Toriyama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Toriyama</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-68444060" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">bbc.com/news/world-asia-684440</span><span class="invisible">60</span></a></p>

David Revoy<p>I learned this morning of the passing of Akira Toriyama, the father of Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump, designer of Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger. Also, probably the artist who influenced me the most when I started drawing. Here is an old fan art I drew of Arale. My heart is really heavy this morning...</p><p><a href="https://framapiaf.org/tags/akiratoriyama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>akiratoriyama</span></a> <a href="https://framapiaf.org/tags/toriyama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>toriyama</span></a> <a href="https://framapiaf.org/tags/%E9%B3%A5%E5%B1%B1%E6%98%8E" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>鳥山明</span></a> <a href="https://framapiaf.org/tags/fanart" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fanart</span></a> <a href="https://framapiaf.org/tags/krita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>krita</span></a></p>
Carlos SolísWell. That was much earlier than expected, even considering that manga artists are VERY prone to burnout. Toyotarou better be a good disciple. Send King Yenma our regards, <a href="https://hub.azkware.net/search?tag=Toriyama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Toriyama</span></a> -sama
